Beta Policy

Last updated: Sept. 12, 2024

Introduction

These Service Terms are part of your Agreements with Orion X. Any capitalized terms that are not defined in these Service Terms have the meanings outlined in the Agreements. In situations where there is a conflict between these Service Terms and the Agreements, these Service Terms take precedence with regard to the features and services governed by these Service Terms.

Beta Features

This section governs your use of services or features provided by Orion X on a preview, beta, or early access basis (“Beta Features”). Any content related to the Beta Features may be used to improve the Service. Beta Features are offered on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Your access to or use of Beta Features is at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, Orion X expressly disclaims all, and you receive no, warranties or conditions of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to those of merchantability, satisfactory quality, title, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the liability of Orion X to you concerning Beta Features is limited to €50.00.

Unless otherwise indicated in these Service Terms, Beta Features are measured and billed as normal use of the Service. Orion X may significantly modify Beta Features during the preview and may decide not to continue with Beta Features.

Data Storage Location

By default, Customer Data is stored in Frankfurt. You further acknowledge that the processing of Customer Data takes place within the EU.

Targeted Source Features

The use of certain services and features requires that you input documents into the Orion X Platform or relies on the Orion X Platform's ability to target specific exogenous data sources (such as publicly available web sources) (“Targeted Source Features”). Documents provided by the authorized user and entered by the Service are specific to the user entering the documents and remain retrievable only during that user’s session. All such entered documents are Customer Data. Content may contain portions of Customer Data or portions of data from the exogenous sources. The use of Targeted Source Features counts toward your Query Limit, and each Targeted Source Feature query counts as 3 Queries toward your Query Limit. The Targeted Source Features are part of the Basic Service.
